<h4> <span class="mw-headline" id="Checking_that_it_works"> Checking that it works </span></h4>
<p>It is important to make sure that your installation interacts correctly with the Sloodle objects in Second Life. The best way to do this is to obtain a <a href="../../../../articles/s/l/o/Sloodle_Set.html" title="Sloodle Set">Sloodle Set</a> object in-world, and configure it for a test course on your Moodle site. If it reports success and you are able to rez and interact with objects, then everything seems OK.

<h4> <span class="mw-headline" id="Letting_educators_use_it"> Letting educators use it </span></h4>
<p><b>Sloodle 0.3 and later</b><br />
After a great deal of planning and experimentation, Sloodle finally offers you the flexibility you would expect from a standard Moodle module. Once Sloodle is installed, the administrator does not usually need to be involved any further. An educator simply needs to add a <a href="../../../../articles/s/l/o/Sloodle_Controller_Module.html" title="Sloodle Controller Module">Sloodle Controller Module</a> (which is a Moodle activity module) to their course, and they are ready to go. They can either use the Controller to generate their own <a href="../../../../articles/s/l/o/Sloodle_config.html" title="Sloodle config">configuration notecard</a>, or use the updated web-based <a href="../../../../articles/o/b/j/Object_Authorization.html" title="Object Authorization">authorization</a> and <a href="http:http://localhost/sl/index.php?title=Sloodle_web_configuration&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1" class="new" title="Sloodle web configuration (page does not exist)">configuration</a> process.

<b>Sloodle 0.1 to 0.21</b><br />
If you are using a version of Sloodle <i>prior to</i> 0.3, then the configuration process is very different. There is a single configuration for the entire site, and any non-administrator educators will need you to provide a "<a href="../../../../articles/s/l/o/Sloodle_config.html" title="Sloodle config">sloodle_config</a>" notecard for each course. This notecard contains the address of the website, the course identifier, and the site-wide <a href="../../../../articles/p/r/i/Prim_Password.html" title="Prim Password">Prim Password</a> (it is important to keep the information secure from non-authorised users). You can obtain appropriate notecard text from the <a href="../../../../articles/s/l/o/Sloodle_Notecard_Setup_Page.html" title="Sloodle Notecard Setup Page">Sloodle Notecard Setup Page</a>.
</p><p>When you have the text from that setup page, you simply need to create a notecard in your inventory in Second Life (right-click somewhere and select "New Note"), and paste the text into the new notecard. You should probably rename it to "sloodle_config (course)", where (course) is the name of the course it is for. Open the notecard properties (right click it and select "Properties"), and make sure the "modify" box is unchecked, and the "copy" box is checked. This will allow educators to make copies for all their objects, but not to change it.
</p><p>You can then give the notecard to the educators who need it. They will need to rename it to simply "<a href="../../../../articles/s/l/o/Sloodle_config.html" title="Sloodle config">sloodle_config</a>" before use.

The "<a href="../../../../articles/s/l/o/Sloodle_config.html" title="Sloodle config">sloodle_config</a>" notecards will contain your site's <a href="../../../../articles/p/r/i/Prim_Password.html" title="Prim Password">Prim Password</a>, which allows Sloodle objects to access it. Only give these notecards out to genuine educators whom you trust, and ensure that they know the security as well.

<h4> <span class="mw-headline" id="When_things_go_wrong"> When things go wrong </span></h4>
<p>Sloodle is not perfect, unfortunately, so you may encounter problems occasionally. If you report these problems, then we will try to solve them as soon as possible (and perhaps we will be able to give you a short-term solution as well):
